The Museum of Sacred Art (MOSA) is a Belgian foundation based in Brussels that supports and presents sacred art and artists from India and beyond, with galleries in Belgium, Italy, and Spain.
OUR STORY
What the silence made clear
COVID brought our work, our scheduled tour, and our funding to a halt, forcing a profound recalibration. During that time, our founder, Vraja Sundari, entered a period of retreat and reflection—including a year-long pilgrimage to ask what her art could now offer a changed world.
Everything had shifted. Performances could now be streamed from a couch. It felt as if the role of the theatre and dance art was asking for a new approach. Following intense recalibration, Vraja Sundari realized that she and many others alongside her were longing to reconnect.
We strive for experiences that continue to resonate. Out of that realization, Gandharva-Veda was born. With this work, we aim to share art from its origin: a sanctuary that restores the nervous system and awakens the heart.
WHAT IS GANDHARVA-VEDA?
Sacred Art of Today
Gandharva-Veda is an immersive fine arts concert where minimalist soundscapes, ancient mantra architecture, Vedic dance, and contemporary movement intersect. It brings kirtan and Vedic art into a contemporary fine-arts setting, carried with full respect for the tradition.
Rooted in Vedic science and neuroscience, it dissolves the boundary between audience and stage. The audience becomes a living, resonant component of the historic architecture itself, leaving with an experience that continues to restore the senses.

SEVA IN ACTION
Our art serves people beyond the theatre
Seva means service from the heart. This commitment shapes the financial structure of everything we create.
To create a structural cycle of contribution, we commit:
15% of every regular ticket sale goes directly to global food relief.
22% of table revenue at fundraising evenings goes directly to emergency relief work.
Both allocations go directly to Food Yoga International to fuel their global volunteer network. We are also exploring a longer-term structure to route streaming royalties from Gandharva-Veda's original score to their relief work.
A one-time donation to food relief is valuable in itself. What Gandharva-Veda adds is momentum: every future performance generates new donations, for as long as we keep dancing. It bridges our artistic world directly with immediate humanitarian action:
